Situated on 160 secluded mountaintop acres in the beautiful Boston Mountains, StoneWind Retreat is the perfect location for an Arkansas honeymoon, a romantic getaway, an anniversary celebration, a family reunion, or a personal retreat. Our unique, beautifully furnished Yurt Cabins are built on very private 40'x40' decks, some with hot tubs, all with panoramic views of the mountains. Located on a mountaintop above Chester, AR, off I-540 midway between Fort Smith and Fayetteville, we share a fence with the Ozark National Forest so you could hike close by or to Devil's Den (18 mi). We are 7 miles from the new Lake Fort Smith for fishing and boating, a short drive to Van Buren, the antique capital of Arkansas, and within easy drive of Fayetteville, Ft. Smith, Eureka Springs, Devil's Den State Park, White Rock Mountain, and Mt. Magazine State Park. Our Yurt Cabins, are designed for long or short term stays and to put you in touch with nature year round. Relax in comfort anytime of year for as long as you want and enjoy being surrounded by the rugged beauty of our mountains, woods, ponds, and forests.
