Two handcrafted log cabins in a peaceful, serene Ozark Mountain setting near the Buffalo National River The cabins are built on 65 private acres with well-maintained hiking trails and a waterfall named "Wildflower Falls" because of the many wildflowers growing there. They are uniquely decorated with antiques, handmade furniture, quilts, local arts and crafts, and old treasures. Our guests love to sit on the porch and watch the birds feeding at the feeders, eagles flying overhead, chipmunks stealing crumbs from the porch, and deer grazing nearby. Bring your camera for some fantastic shots. The spectacular sunsets and clear nighttime skies for star gazing are priceless! Nearby, are more hiking trails of the Buffalo River Trails system and national forest trails and roads. And, of course, the river for canoeing, kayacking, picnicing, and swimming. We are minutes away from Hemmed-In-Hollow, the tallest waterfall between the Smokies and the Rockies. Rock climbing and caving are also popular sports year 'round. Take a day-trip to Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Branson, MO, or Springfield, MO (home of Bass Pro). The perfect place for a family looking for outdoor adventure or a couple wanting a romantic getaway. |
