- Eagle's View is close to everything! It is about 1.5 hours from Denver International airport, 1 hour from downtown Denver, and 5 minutes to Blackhawk, 11 miles to Eldora Ski Resort, 90 minutes to Breckenridge, 90 minutes to Estes Park, close to Loveland Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes to Golden Gate State Park.
- Golden Gate Canyon State Park: (7 minutes) Encompasses 14,000 acres of hiking, picnicking and camping among dense forest, rocky peaks and aspen-filled meadows.
- Blackhawk: (5 minutes away) Has limited stakes gaming, and casinos such as Riviera, Isle of Capri, Harvey's, and Harrah's.
- Eldora: "11 miles away" Eldora, opening in 1962, is skiing, snowboarding, cross- country and snowshoe friendly! Eldora receives 300 inches of snow per year and boasts Colorado's best snowmaking system.
- Central City Opera House: "3 miles away" The 1878 CentralCity Opera House built by Welsh and Cornish miners is the most recognized of Central City Opera's Historic Properties within Central City / Blackhawk National Landmark Historic District.

- Fishing: There is a fully stocked private pond of a mile from our cabin for the residents in our area. Fishing passes are provided for our guests and located in the cabin.
