Chalet at Sawyer Creek is a secluded, immaculate, professionally decorated chalet situated half way up a mountain tucked within the trees. The two bedroom 2 bath chalet has a split design to allow for privacy. There is a 400 square foot, elevated wrap-around deck with hammock, grill, and picnic table. The great room is light and airy with plenty of wood and glass. A stone fireplace gives the room a cozy atmosphere. The master/loft bedroom has a new king size bed and a huge picture window looking out on the forest. Relax on the deck, walk to the Appalachian Trail, or pick berries right outside your door. Close by are several mountain music venues...bluegrass, clogging, etc.,and you're only fifteen minutes from whitewater rafting. Harrah's Casino, Tsali, Joyca Kilmer National Forest, and the Cherahala Skyline are minutes away. Fishing in this area is tops in the Smokies. 80% of Graham County is national forest, so you are truly in the mountains, yet a short drive will bring you to groceries, craft shops, restaurants, flea markets, auctions, and more.
