Linville River Log Cabins are centrally located and convenient to the North Carolina "High Country's" many attractions and only minutes from the ski resorts. We have six (6) vacation rental cabins. Five are one bed-room, Riverbend has two bed-rooms. Four of the six have sleeping lofts. All cabins are riverside (not more than 15 yards to the river) along the beautiful Linville River. We are the ideal central location to enjoy the extensive recreational opportunities in Western NC. Our log cabins accommodate 2 to 6 people. All cabins are air-conditioned, although air conditioning is rarely needed at this elevation. Our elevation is over 3,000 feet and ten miles away is Grandfather Mountain, where the elevation is almost 6,000 feet. Have you ever enjoyed a night's sleep with the windows open, cool mountain air, listening to the sound of a rambling river? Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchens, 4 person hot tubs, covered decks and a cozy fire place. Each cabin has its own outside cooking grills and a fire ring next to the river. Not willing to be too rustic? We have wireless internet, for a small fee, (internet is satellite so please see more information on our website.) In addition, for your enjoyment each cabin has a 32 inch flat screen satellite television with 120 channels and 12 STARZ movie channels! You can count on all cabins having plenty of relaxation with lots of mountain atmosphere. Whether you come for the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Snow Skiing, Ice Skating and Tubing, Mountain Climbing, Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting, Tour Guide Trout Fishing, or just to get away from it all, let Linville River Log Cabins be your home away from home. Find US Hwy 221 in Western North Carolina. Go North of I-40 out of Marion, NC for 28 Miles. We are two miles north of community of Linville Falls and the Intersection of US Hwy 221 and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. (Scenic Highway with no commerical Vehicles allowed)
