Laughing Bear is only 15 miles from our world renound, year round skiing facilities of Mt. Hood Oregon. It's also a historical site, built by the Steiner family who helped build Timberline Lodge. In one afternoon you could sleep in and still enjoy slopes, shopping, good food, and see Steiners tools and work on display at the lodge museum. Walking distance to 2 rivers, groceries, 3 restaurants, antique shops, post office, and many trailheads.
