We are the premiere Getaway Cabin providers in the PA Wilds, we invite you to BLUE SKIES LODGE. We provide "Flex Scheduling" to accommodate your busy lifestyle, so you're not locked into weekends or full weeks. Come when you wish and stay as long as you like.

Leave your job and chores behind; forget about that annoying boss or employee; escape from the endless stop-and-go traffic of life. Take a detour to our cabin for a few days.

Your choice, ring a comfortable pair of walking shoes, go hiking, biking, or lounge on the deck and read a good book. Or if you were Born to be Wild bring the ATVs, snowmobiles or skis. Hike a mile or hike a dozen.

Our "Easy-Pack" Vacation Plan means we provide little luxuries and necessities for your comfort and enjoyment, so you spend less time packing and shopping - more time relaxing!

As local owners, we are always here to make sure the cabin is clean and comfortable, and to help with any special needs that may arise.

THE LODGE

Our completely-renovated first floor features a fully-equipped kitchen, six-seat dining area and cozy den. The elegant red-and-gold-themed bedroom boasts a sumptuous queen-sized bed. The spacious bathroom includes a convenient laundry center, towels, soap and personal toiletries.

Climb the wide staircase to the Lodge-style Gathering Room, with front and rear access to the wrap-around deck. Have a seat at the built-in bar for a drink and a chat, play a rousing game of foosball or a quiet board game, or wander out onto the deck to enjoy our magnificent Northern Pennsylvania scenery.

Down the hallway is a rustic bedroom with an Amish-made, Queen-sized log bed and views of the woods and picnic area. Across the hall is the bear-themed childrens' room, with log bunk beds, games and toys.

When night falls, you can enjoy a soak in the "Gone Fishing" bathroom, complete with towels and soap - even new spare toothbrushes and toothpaste, should you forget yours.

There are plenty of DVDs and video tapes to watch.

FOR YOU STARGAZERS

Located on the same parallel (41 degrees N) as Cherry Springs State Park, a Dark Sky Preserve, BLUE SKIES LODGE has a 10-acre open field with magnificent viewing capabilities. Bring your telescope - or just your eyes and a blanket. You will be amazed at the number of stars you can see here!
