High Lonesome Cabin was built in 2008 in the Virginia Blue
Ridge. This rustic cabin sits on 14 secluded acres high on a steep
finger of the Priest Mountain near the Appalachian Trail in Tyro Va.,
five minutes from Crabtree Falls. When you stay at High Lonesome you
have a mountain all to yourself, and you may never feel the need to
start the car again until you have to leave. But if you do venture
out, wineries, orchards, stables, golf, rivers, antiques, lakes and
trails are all within minutes of the long gravel driveway.
Some modern conveniences are furnished, but this is not a
ginormous luxury log home masquerading as a “cabin”. The spectacular
view, total privacy and mountain setting are its finest
attributes….ones that only Mother Nature could provide. If a serene
mountain escape is what you seek, High Lonesome Cabin will elevate
your soul and clear your mind. |
