Once you get here you won't want to leave the Knotty Pine...maybe it's from exhaustion because you just had fun canoeing, hiking, fishing, golfing, or had some other outdoor adventure; or maybe you don't want to leave until you etch the peaceful moment in your mind as you are relaxing in the Knotty Pine's outdoor hot tub viewing the stars and the ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountain range.

This 3 bedroom cottage with 2 full baths can accommodate up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a king size pillowtop bed, a separate bath, and glass doors for a nice view or for a convenient step out onto the deck and into the hot tub. Full size beds are in the other bedrooms. The living room has 2 rockers, 2 couches(1 is a sleeper sofa) and fireplace with a woodstove insert. There are 2 TV's, each w/ separate satellite and a DVD in the living room and VCR in the master bedroom. Both the master bedroom and living room also have stereos. You can dine inside or outside: There is a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher and dining area. Make sure you have time to swing on the porch and listen to the sounds of nature and the Shenandoah River flowing; or run the river yourself in the canoe or 4 tubes provided. Enjoy all this area has to offer, but also relax and do nothing at the Knotty Pine Cottage.

  • and in about 2 hours from the Washington D.C. area.

Rates:
  • $390 weekend for 2 (kids free) $25/adults $10/pets
  • $145 additional night ~ $970 weekly rate ~ Linens included.
  • 2 night mimimun stay ~ 3 night min. stay Holiday weekends.
