Skyline Hideaway cabins - Hemlock Hollow and Chalet... Nestled on the secluded mountainside of Tanners Ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, these two custom built log cabins are complete with all the modern conveniences. These log home cabins allow you to enjoy Mother Nature in comfort. Star gaze from the hot tub of the Chalet or the deck of Hemlock Hollow among acres of maples, oaks, and hemlock trees

The properties are in a very secluded area at 2,500' elevation surrounded on three sides by the Shenandoah National Park. Walk out your door to the nearby fishing pond or be adventurous and hike on of the many trails to Big Meadows, The Skyline Drive, Camp Hover, or Lewis and Dark Hollow waterfalls. We own over 25 acres dedicated to preserving the unspoiled Blue Ridge Mountains. Connected by gravel roads the surrounding property remains equally natural. Nature abounds were sightings of deer, bear, and a wide verity of uncommon and rare birds occur often.

Even though you are in the wilderness, all the activities of the Shenandoah Valley are only a short drive away: horseback riding, bicycling, kayaking, canoeing, golf, Civil War battle fields/trails &historical sites, skiing at Bryce and Massanuten Mountains.

Take a relaxing stroll along the Hawksbill Greenway and visit the local winery, antique stores, restaurants, music, movies, and Luray Caverns. Just a short drive away from the cabins in the charming towns of Luray and Stanley.
