Fair Light is a haven of rest in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia approximately twenty miles from either Staunton to the north or Lexington to the south and within two miles of I-81 and I-64. This is a restored pre-civil war log cabin with a new addition that provides a timeless ambience as well as the modern conveniences of today.

The log cabin "home" features a living room that has a stone fireplace and a television with DVD/VCR/CD players. The dining room features a country dining table and a parlor stove. The eat-in kitchen contains all new modern conveniences including a microwave oven and a dishwasher. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom, a full size bed in a second bedroom, and a queen size sleep sofa in the living room.

  • Two miles off I-81/I-64 at exit 205 (Raphine). Go West 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Route 919 (Stoners Hill). Go to the third driveway on the left (immediately after a county line sign). Follow the driveway to the hosts' home. Fair Light is nearby.

  • Four hours from Charlotte, North Carolina
  • $160.00 per night for the first two nights for two people.
  • Additional nights: $130.00 per night.
  • Additional Persons: $30.00 per night per person. Children are welcome and subject to these additional person rates.
  • There is a two night minimum stay. Local and State taxes will be collected. Rates are subject to change.
  • Checks, money orders and cash are acceptable forms of payment.
